Amy Hastings BCL MSc (Spatial Planning), Barrister-at-Law is a partner in ARC consultants and is qualified as both a planner and barrister. Her role in ARC is the provision of planning services, planning legal services and environmental assessment services to ARCs clients. Planning services provided by ARC include the following:

- Planning Advice and Advice on Planning Law Issues

- Advice on and/or preparation of Third Party Submission to Planning Authorities in relation to planning applications
- Planning Appeals
- Advice on and/or preparation of Responses to First Party Appeals and to Third Party Appeals
- Enforcement Services
- Preparation of submissions in relation to Development Plans
- Specialist advice and input to statutory plans and planning schemes
In addition to the above, ARC, given its accreditation by the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland as a Grade I Conservation Practice, specialises in planning advice on protected structures and building of architectural heritage value. For example, ARC can provide advice on the planning status of proposed works to a protected structure. ARC can also provice specialist planning advice where there are issues relating to sunlight access, daylight access and rights to light.
